CHURCH COUNCIL

Gloria Dei Lutheran Church has a number of Church Council and Committees that hold our congregation together. Council meets once a month on the 3nd Thursday.  If you have an interest in being on a committee, please contact the church office.  

QUILTING

The quilting ministry meets throughout the year on either Tuesday or Thursday, to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and local organizations along with special occations at the church like Baptisms and High School Graduation.  Anyone interested in helping quilt OR donating materials is welcome.  Quilt tops/middles (60''x80'') and backs (64''x84'') are always welcome, as are sheets in good condition and layette items. 
 

GRILLING TO GO!

Each Wednesday, Shepherd's Table and Gloria Dei provide a Community Drive thru meal. From 5:30-6:30pm on a Wednesday evening, all members of the community are invited to enjoy a free evening meal. Delicious entrees are furnished by members of the church. 

THE MENS GROUP

They meet as needed to provide services like preparing meals for fundraisers or special events or working on projects around the church. 

MENS BIBLE STUDY

Bible study is on Saturday mornings at 8:00. They meet every Saturday for food, fellowship and discussions about the bible. All are welcome to come and learn.

GLORY BAND

Put your musical gifts to work!  
They meet in Wednesday nights to practice for their upcoming Sunday service. They perform contempory Christian music at a range of venues which include benefit events, other churches, Bethel Nursing Home and more. They are always willing to play and spead the joy. If you are interesting in joining the band or learning more, come on Sunday and speak to one of the Glory Band Members.
