Adults Ministry
Church Council
Gloria Dei Lutheran Church’s mission and value statements are the basis for directing how the church ministry is shaped and how resources are allocated. We have several Church Council and Committee members. It is their hard work and dedication that hold our congregation together. Council meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday. If you have any questions or thoughts or have an interest in being on a committee, please contact the church office.
Quilting
The quilting ministry meets throughout the year on either Tuesday or Thursday to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief and local organizations. They also make quilts for special occasions at the church like Baptisms and High School Graduations. Anyone interested in helping with quilting or donating materials is welcome. Quilt tops/middles (60''x80'') and backs (64''x84'') are always welcome, as are sheets in good condition and layette items.
The Men’s Group
The Men’s group meet as needed to step in to help with important events and projects. Events and services may include preparing meals for fundraisers or special events or working on projects around the church. It’s a wonderful way to build community and support the church!
Men’s Bible Study
Gloria Dei Bible study for men is on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. They meet every Saturday offering guidance on faith, leadership and relationships. Join them for food, fellowship and discussions built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. All are welcome who seek to deepen their relationship with Christ.
